Old Salty's Kettle Korn started in 1999, but it actually goes back much further. I remember my mother making kettle korn when we were kids, and she would store it in tins by the attic door. Whenever she was busy outside, my siblings and I would slip upstairs to sneak some of the freshly made, sweet and salty, kettle korn. My personal favorite was finding the ones with the most sugar coating stuck to it. Today you can still find those extra special, coated gold nuggets in our Old Salty's Kettle Korn, and it always reminds me of mom.
